Some time we have two or more godaddy accounts (Business, Personnel etc) we don’t have to buy hosting under each account, we have an option to use one godaddy hosting for many domains. lets see how to point a godaddy registered domain into another godaddy hosting account.

To achieve this we must be able to login each godaddy accounts.

Step 1: Login to your godaddy account which has a Hosting plan, now we want to add the desired domain into the existing hosting account:

1) Log in to your Account Manager.
2) Click Web Hosting.
3) Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
4) From the More menu, select Hosted Domains.
5) Click Add Domain.
6) Enter the domain name in the Domain field.
7) For Deluxe and Ultimate plans, enter a new or existing folder in the Folder field. This is where you need to upload the domain’s website. If you do not enter a folder, the domain works as an alias.
Do not enter any spaces in the Folder field.

8) Click OK.

Step 2: Now we need to find out the Hosting account’s IP address:

1) Log in to your Account Manager.
2) Click Web Hosting.
3) Next to the hosting account you want to use, click the Launch button.
Your IP address displays in the IP Address field in the Server Details column.

Step 3: Login to the other godaddy account (which has your domain name)
Now we have to update the Zome file under DNS Manager, To Access the Zone File Editor

1) Log in to your Account Manager.
2) Next to Domains, click Launch.
3) From the DNS menu, select DNS Manager, and then click Edit Zone for the domain name you want to update.
